Pizza and Politics Round 3
Come join us at the Round Table pizza in Atascadero for another Pizza and Politics debate. We will be watching the Pre-Debates starting at 2pm Pacific time and going on to the regular debates starting at 5pm Pacific time.
The debate, set for Oct. 28 at 5 p.m. pacific tim, will be held at Coors Events Center at the University of Colorado Boulder. The debate will be moderated by Carl Quintanilla, host of “Squawk on the Street” and “Squawk Alley;” Becky Quick, co-anchor of “Squawk Box;” and Chief Washington Correspondent John Harwood.
Participation in the debate was determined by polls conducted by NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, CNN and Bloomberg in the last five weeks with the top 10 performers taking the main stage. As in the previous debates, the others – candidates who have garnered at least 1 percent in national polls – will participate in a pre-debate at 2 p.m. pacific time.
The top 10 candidates, along with their composite poll ratings, are:
Donald Trump: 25.22
Ben Carson: 19.78
Marco Rubio: 9.67
Jeb Bush: 8.11
Carly Fiorina: 8.11
Ted Cruz: 6.89
Mike Huckabee: 3.56
Chris Christie: 3
John Kasich: 3
Rand Paul: 3
Trump and Carson will be center stage. To Trump’s right will be Rubio, Bush, Huckabee and Kasich, in that order. To Carson’s left will be Fiorina, Cruz, Christie and Paul, in that order.
The four candidates taking part in the pre-debate are: Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, George Pataki and Lindsey Graham.
